Reconciliation action for the International Day of Peace in Svistunivka, Svativska Tergromada, Luhansk Region

During the interim meeting, the headman of the village of Svistunovka informed the participants of the meeting about holding a meeting with farmers who carry out their activities on the territory of the village about the possibility of providing fields for the export of pig waste products and the actual cultivation of fields with organic fertilizer. Farmers agreed to provide their plots and have so far verbally agreed on the places of export with the management of the pig farm. In turn, the management of the pig farm prepared a letter of appeal to the Svatovsky City Council with a request to consider and allocate a site for the export of pig farm waste products in winter. 

Vita Slipets, chairman of the Svatovskaya ah, who was present at the meeting, assured the participants of the meeting that the city authorities are interested in solving the problematic issue and will keep the consideration of the appeal under personal control.

Recall that at the last meeting, the participants discussed the possibility of joint planting of tree seedlings near a pig farm for landscaping the surrounding area and air purification in the future. In this connection, the participants of the meeting, together with the intermediaries of GISMAOVK, adviser to the chairman of the Luhansk regional CAA Mykola Nadulichny, the head of the Svatovskaya ah and local residents of the village, amicably planted 50 saplings of trees around the enterprise. Local activists promised to take care of the pine seedlings and subsequently plant more trees that can naturally purify the air and green the adjacent territory to the pig farm.

Thus, a voluntary reconciliation event took place. Thematically, it was dedicated to the International Day of peace, the celebration of which traditionally takes place on September 21 every year and lasts for a week in the form of various actions and events. 

As usual, such actions unite! All participants of the meeting noted the positive dynamics of the meeting and noted that the meeting was interesting and constructive.

The dialogue meeting was also held this time in a street format by gismaovc mediators within the framework of the UN program for the restoration and development of peace.
