Online course "Peaceful methods of conflict resolution: mediation, negotiation and dialogue" for regional mediators GISMAECR Zaporozhye region

The course is one of the stages of comprehensive training of regional intermediaries «Intermediary component of the GISMAOVK resource — network of intermediaries» Zaporozhye region.

Purpose of the training — improve the professional level of the team of regional mediators of GISMAOVK Zaporozhye region and inclusive public advisers, provide them with basic knowledge on peaceful methods of conflict resolution (mediation, negotiations, dialogue), necessary for planning, organizing interventions and further conflict resolution, which are defined by the Geoinformation system for monitoring, analyzing, evaluating and resolving conflicts («GISMAOVK»).

The training program will include the following questions::differentiation and history of methods of mediation, facilitation of dialogue, negotiations; competence of the mediator, negotiator and facilitator of dialogue; professional mediation: what? How? For what purpose? types and features of negotiations in conflict; working with complex situations in negotiations; manipulations in negotiations; dialogue, dialogue culture and dialogue approach; the need for dialogue; publicity/confidentiality of dialogue and processes; functional roles in dialogue; professional skills of a dialogue facilitator, mediator and negotiator, etc.
