GISMAECR discussed at a meeting of the Working Group on Public Safety and Social Cohesion in Melitopol

On August 20, 2021, a meeting of the Working Group on public safety and social cohesion was held in Melitopol, which was joined online by representatives of GISMAOVK. The meeting was attended by representatives of the public and the community authorities, as well as representatives of the police. During the meeting, the work of the hismaovc network, the specifics of working in communities and mapping conflicts were presented. 

As usual, such working groups are an effective mechanism for coordinating joint work of the public and the authorities, which has already been proven over the years. They are created and are being created, operating locally at the community level with the support of the United Nations peace reconstruction and Development Program and its community mobilization specialists.

We are confident that the Working Group of the Militopol community of Zaporizhia region, if necessary, will support cooperation with GISMAORK specialists.
