We invite you to join the conference on effective conflict resolution

We invite participants of the GISMAOVC network, as well as representatives of the authorities and the public of Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhia regions who have experience in cooperation with the gismaovc network of specialists, as well as anyone interested in the topic of conflict resolution, to take part in the conference of partners of the Geoinformation system for monitoring, analyzing and resolving conflicts: "Do communities need dialogue, and how to work professionally with conflicts: the experience of GISMAOVC specialists and partners", which will take place December 3-5, 2021.

Key objectives of the conference:

development of social cohesion through the introduction of methods of dealing with conflicts;
demonstration of conflict analysis practices and development of a response system;
demonstration of conflict resolution practices in a peaceful way through the organization of Group dialogue processes;
start of a systematic partnership of GISMAOVC specialists with communities using GISMAOVC tools and methodology and Conflict Transformation;
popularization of the achievements of the work of the United Nations program for the restoration and development of peace on social unity and the work of GISMAOVC.

The conference is planned to be held in offline and online formats. An offline format with the participation of 30 people will be held in the hotel complex «Roche Royal», Svyatogorsk. Everyone else who wants to participate in the conference will be able to join the event online.

The Conference of partners of the Geoinformation system for monitoring ,analysis and Conflict Resolution" do communities need dialogue, and how to work professionally with conflicts: the experience of GISMAOVC specialists and Partners " is organized United Nations peace reconstruction and development programmeit is implemented by four UN agencies: the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Framework for gender equality and women's empowerment (UN Women), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The program is supported by twelve international partners: the European Union (EU), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the US Embassy in Ukraine, as well as the governments of Denmark, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden and Japan.
