Statistics of messages received by GISMAECR for December 2021

Out of 8 messages received:

-2 notification of lack of access to drinking water, without confirmation of the first one

sources;

-1 reports of labor disputes in the territory not controlled by the Ukrainian government;

-2 messages with signs of political influence.

All non-mediable messages are included in the database of separate analysis, for future study in the format of early conflict prevention, divided into groups involved and spheres of influence.

Activities were supervised and advisory support was provided on methodological issues for Project monitors and analysts.

In total, four ZOOM meetings were held with GISMAOVC monitors, regarding the resources for receiving information, and contacts with key informants in communities. Training was conducted on the use of resources for message detection and data cross-validation resources.
Two zoom meetings were also held with an analyst of GISMAOVK to prepare an analytical report and study the dynamics of mapped conflicts, their development and severity.

Training materials on conflict theory, methods of Conflict Analysis, practical skills in working with the Geoinformation system and the conflicts reflected in it were prepared,which were used in the practice of the GISMAOVK work.

We remind you that since the beginning of the experiment and as of 31.12.2021, GISMAOVK has received 591 messages, 225 of which were deleted due to non-compliance/incorrect filling in,

366 messages were cross-monitored-checked in open sources.

Based on the results of the analytical work the GISMAOVK was determined and plotted on the map:
