The Center for law and mediation invites you to an online conference on dealing with conflicts in communities
We invite you to take part in the conference «professional approach to dealing with conflicts in communities: experience and opportunities of GISMAOVK», which will be held on September 20, 2022 at 14:00 and will last until 16:30.
Target audience: participants of the GISMAOVC network of intermediaries, representatives of the public sector, authorities and Compulsory Health Insurance, local residents, IDPs and other interested parties from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Ivano — Frankivsk, Luhansk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions
Questions for discussion:
- development of social cohesion through the introduction of professional methods of dealing with conflicts (mediation, facilitation of dialogue, negotiations, etc.);
- demonstration of Conflict Analysis and monitoring practices and development of an early response system;
- demonstration of opportunities to introduce peaceful methods of dealing with conflicts in communities (mediation, facilitation of dialogue, negotiations, etc.), in particular with the help of GISMAOVK;
- presentation of the GISMAOVK experience for 2019-2021..;
- popularization of a systematic approach to dealing with conflicts in communities and the work of GISMAOVK;
- familiarization of representatives of communities of Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano — Frankivsk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions with the experience and capabilities of GISMAOVK;
- involvement in partnership to implement GISMAOVC mechanisms at the local, regional and national levels.

The event is organized by the NGO «Center for law and mediation» within the framework of the project «functioning and implementation of GISMAOVK in the communities of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions».The project is being implemented with the support of UNDP within the framework of the United Nations peace reconstruction and Development Program with financial support from the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
