Recruitment for an online course on conflict resolution in communities is announced

The recruitment of participants and participants is announced for training in the online course «methods of working with conflicts in communities: mediation, negotiations and facilitation of dialogue» for representatives of state authorities and local self-government bodies of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Lviv, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi regions", which will be held from October 20 to 28, 2022.
This course is useful for representatives of local self-government bodies and public authorities who face conflicts in their work and work with conflict situations in society. The course will help to diagnose conflict in time, choose tools for effective conflict resolution, and will also help reduce tension in the community and team, increasing the efficiency of the public authority and creating favorable conditions for increasing the level of social cohesion in the community.
The course program covers theoretical and practical blocks that will help you understand:
✅what are conflicts and why do they occur;
✅what are the causes of conflicts?;
✅what types of conflicts exist (in communities, teams, etc.);
✅how to identify and analyze conflicts;
✅how to build a conflict management system;
✅what are the effective methods of conflict intervention and what are the actors in the conflict;
✅what is the added value for society from timely conflict resolution;
✅what is the price of conflict and the price of getting out of conflict for the community;
✅what are the possibilities of mediation, negotiations and facilitation of dialogue when dealing with conflicts in the community?;
✅how to prevent conflicts in communities, etc.
The event is held within the framework of the Geoinformation system for monitoring, analyzing, evaluating and resolving conflicts by reference (hereinafter referred to as GISMAOVK).
The geographic information system for monitoring, analyzing, evaluating and resolving conflicts is a single and unique closed – loop conflict management system that started its work in 2019. Over the years, more than 100 professional specialists in the field of peaceful methods of dealing with conflicts have joined the network of GISMAOVK experts. Since the beginning of their activity, experts have resolved more than 160 group conflicts in the communities of Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions.
