Mediators of the GISMAECR Network were trained in the field of mediation

In recent months, 13 Intermediaries of the GISMAECR Network have received basic training in the field of mediation. This knowledge is planned to be used to resolve conflicts or disputes identified by the United Nations Peacebuilding and Peacebuilding Monitoring, Analysis, Assessment and Conflict Resolution System.

Training in the program «Mediation. Basic course „(90 hours) was held online, taking into account the technologies of the world's leading schools of mediation and negotiation.

The course program allows its participants to:

get tools for effective resolution of conflict situations and disputes — mediation;

learn independent skills in the use of mediation technologies; gain knowledge of all competencies of a mediator (conflict, communication, procedural, reflective and legal);

learn to choose the most effective tactics and strategy of the negotiation process;

bring the conflicting parties to a reasonable agreement that each party will consider fair for itself;

to strengthen personal communicative and negotiating potential, as well as to form the necessary skills for confident work with conflicts;

to get acquainted and practice the basic techniques of managing one's own emotions and the emotional state of the parties to the conflict;

obtain a certificate entitling to practice mediation.
