The experience of GISMAECR is presented to the international community

Experience GISMAECR, the activities of the network of Ambassadors for peace and other events to support and promote a culture of dialogue, mediation and other methods of communication conflict in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, were presented at a special online event, which was organized by the Istanbul office of the UNDP and GPPAC working in the field of peacebuilding.

Participants shared experience in myrobalana in Europe, the Western Balkans, South Caucasus, Central Asia, and discussed how to respond to COVID-19, and how it affects the development of peaceful and inclusive societies. It is hoped that the expert practices will help to formulate recommendations for implementation at the regional, national and local levels, which are then included in the relevant strategic policies and programs for their implementation.

Of course, the resolution on mirobolant support of peace, adopted in April 2016 the Security Council and Generalno Assamblee of the United Nazi (UN) (S /RES /2282; A /RES/ 70/262), marked a fundamental shift in the understanding of the UN peacebuilding Commission, as a critically important element in preventing the outbreak, escalation, continuation and recurrence of conflict.

Response to the complex problems of the modern world, such as COVID-19, is a big challenge in the field of maroboduus and development faced by the population of the communities. They are often the first react and feel an immediate vplivala crisis in the social, economic and political spheres, as well as in the sphere of security.

When people and institutions in the affected communities run the world at the local level, this process is usually called local mirabito. At the local level, the impact of the crisis's most visible and manageable. During the crisis the local peacekeepers and community leaders are directly its impact. With direct access to local conditions and understanding of the local context, they are better able to react and adapt their approach to the environment, which is changing very quickly and is a result of the crisis. The existing infrastructure in support of peace (I4P) at the local, national and regional levels should be used to support prevention and response.
