The GISMAECR "School of Intermediaries" for the Zaporizhia region continues

«Standards and Ethics in work» for regional mediators (mediators, dialogue facilitators, conflict resolution mediators) of Zaporizhia region who plan to work with conflicts of the Geoinformation system for monitoring, analysis, assessment and conflict resolution (GISMAOVK)", which will last until May 22, 2020.

During the training, applicants for further work in the network of intermediaries of GISMAOVK are provided with the knowledge necessary for qualitative analysis and development of interventions in conflicts, which is revealed today by the Geoinformation system for monitoring, analyzing, evaluating and resolving conflicts (GISMAOVK) in the Zaporozhye region.

A team of 23 already practicing certain regional intermediaries of the GISMAOVC from Donetsk and Luhansk regions has been formed, based on the results of exercises and workshops of the previous period, and now, after May 22, it will select new members.

Thus, based on the results of this training, an expanded team of intermediaries will start their work in the Zaporozhye region to resolve conflicts in communities. It is precisely for those conflicts that are considered priority and are reflected in the rating of the GISMAOVK system.

It should be noted that regional intermediaries and New selected candidates for this network must sign the «code of intermediaries of the GISMAOVK system „on ethical norms and standards of their work.

In addition, selected intermediaries the second block of training – the course “mediation. Basic course» (90 hours), after which they will be introduced to practice within the framework of GISMAOVK.

It should be noted that further, after the training, group practical consultations will be launched to develop scenarios and introduce new cases in the work of intermediaries. Thus, by the end of the year, it is planned to make at least 20 interventions in the conflicts of the Zaporozhye region.
