Mass protests against the increase in utility tariffs in Rubizhne

Due to a significant increase in utility tariffs, mass protests have been taking place in Rubizhne since January 2021. Residents of the city came out to protest to the military-civil administration of Rubizhne. At the rally, a resolution was signed on the meeting with demands for the chairman of the Rubezhansky territorial community to file a lawsuit and lead the movement against high tariffs on the side of the city's residents. Having received no answer, the activists went to the CAA to find out if the employees had received a task to solve this question. But it was difficult for activists to get into the building, because the CAA restricted access to specialists. When activists argued with police officials about the fact that restricting access to the CAA is illegal, the current chairman passed by. S. Khortiv attacked the activist, wanted to take away his phone, from which there was a live broadcast. A statement was written to the police on this fact. But one of the articles in the media reported that the application was rejected. Zelensky was addressed by a deputy of the Rubezhansky City Council from the Nash Krai party. It should also be noted that a protest action was held in the village of Voevodovka with the closure of the Severodonetsk-Rubezhnoye Highway. But activist A. Morozov, arriving at the scene, managed to film how all the participants of the action got on the ordered bus and drove towards Rubezhnoye. It was based on this fact that he suggested that it was a planned and possibly political action.
