Concern about the possible closure of women's consultation № 1

On 28.01.2021, activist Y. Chehuta posted a message on her Facebook page calling on women to defend the No1 women's consultation. At the end of January, the doctors of consultation No1 began to hint to their patients that in the near future the consultation will either be closed or moved to the women's clinic No2. It should be noted that women's consultation NO2 is located in another part of the city. In December 2020, they already tried to move the women's consultation No. 1 to Smetanina, 5. but thanks to the wide publicity and efforts of activists and deputies of the city council, they not only stopped this process, but also allocated funds for partial repairs of the premises. Now the consultation is located in a convenient location, has a spacious enough room to avoid crowding patients. This is especially important for compliance with quarantine standards. It was noted that the institution serves not only women living in this area of the city, but also patients from the district.

From the TV story where the situation was discussed, it became known:

1. doctors can't talk openly about upcoming changes and don't have a clear idea of how they will work and whether jobs will be saved at all. Activists report that employees are under pressure from the management and authorities.

2.requests to the CAA on February 8 received an explanation with the text: "as of 04,02,2021, no events are planned for a women's consultation." Activists call it unsubscribing.

3.official responses to requests to the chairman of the CAA of the Luhansk region and people's deputies have not yet been received.

4. general director of the NCP "Severodonetsk city multidisciplinary hospital" R. Vodianik provided a comment to journalists that public unrest has no basis. Those who spread the news about the closure of the consultation were accused of intending to undermine the situation in society. R. Vodianik also noted that all requests were answered and a meeting was held with employees of the institution. At this meeting, he reassured doctors and rozvopiv that no measures will be taken until April. But the journalists turned to the representatives of the consultation and received a response that the director did not meet with them in the near future.
