Murder of the founder of a local market by police officers

On the outskirts of one of the villages near Mariupol, police shot dead businessman Vladimir Migotsky. Police say he and his son were involved in illegal tree felling. The police, who were at the place of detention of Migotsky, claim that he deliberately ran a car over one of the representatives of law enforcement agencies and tried to escape, because of which, law enforcement officers were forced to open fire. However, witnesses of the incident deny the businessman's involvement in deforestation. Also, some residents and friends of the businessman have a version that this murder is the result of a political game of local parties. For example, the next day, during another tariff rally in the city, the car of one of the local businessmen and activists was smashed. The activist himself claims that his car was deliberately smashed and blames representatives of the city's political parties for this. He also added that he was threatened after the murder of Migotsky. There is an opinion among the public and the media that the accident was caused intentionally to distract attention from the rally.
