The recruitment of participants and participants to participate in the online training «professionalization in the field of peaceful methods in conflict resolution. Standards and Ethics in the work» for regional mediators (mediators, dialogue facilitators, conflict resolution mediators) who plan to work with conflicts defined by GISMAOVK in Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions", which will be held on August 29 — September 2, 2022 online (Zoom app).
The training is the first stage of comprehensive training of regional intermediaries «intermediary component of the resource „GISMAOVK“ – network of intermediaries of GISMAOVK» Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi regions.
Purpose of the training — prepare a team of regional mediators, provide them with the basic knowledge necessary for planning, organizing interventions and further conflict resolution, which are defined by the Geoinformation system for monitoring, analyzing, evaluating and resolving conflicts («GISMAOVK»). The formed team of regional mediators will work in the Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions to resolve conflicts in the communities defined by GISMAOVK and popularize peaceful methods of conflict resolution.
The training program will include the following questions: definition of professional mediation in conflict; delineation and history of mediation methods, dialogue facilitation, people's diplomacy and mediation; types, methods and approaches of professional mediation; competence of a professional mediator in conflict resolution; conflictological competence of a mediator, methods and approaches to conflict analysis; types and planning of conflict interventions; legal and ethical principles of conflict resolution mediators; problems and ways to success in the profession of conflict resolution mediators (mediators, dialogue facilitators); standards and ethics of the system mediator «gismaovk».
Based on the results of the training, participants and participants will be selected for the team of gismaovc intermediaries who will be involved in conflict resolution in the Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions.

To participate in the training, applicants must fill out a questionnaire by 18:00 on August 23, 2022 at the link forms.gle/Fymm5PXFQ1qe9yFTA and attach the following documents to the questionnaire:
1) scanned copies of certificates for training in the field of peaceful methods of conflict resolution (mediation (mandatory), facilitation of dialogue, conflict resolution/transformation, etc.);
2) motivation letter;
3) profile / resume(including those with experience in the field of peaceful methods of conflict resolution);
4) confirmation of experience in conflict resolution (at least 2 recommendations on experience in conflict resolution);
5) contacts, organization name, and full name of people who can recommend you and confirm your experience.
When evaluating submitted applications, the weight of the justification of interest, experience and appropriate qualifications, prospects as community representatives, and experience in resolving conflicts in society will be taken into account. Preference will be given to candidates who confirm their readiness to work after completing their studies in the GISMAOVK project.
